Habitat: Has been observed on novaculite outcrops and edge of north-facing bluffs at high elevation (2000+ feet).

Flowering Date: April - May
Fruiting Date: August - November

Causes for Concern: Known from only four sites in the world. Threatened by mining at one site.

Global Range: Endemic to the Ouachita Mountains and Arkansas Valley of Arkansas.
